Das trader hotkey scripts5/12/2023 This page is helpful when a stock makes an unexpected move and you need to adjust your partialing strategy. The top corners has a “Cancel All Orders” and a “PANIC” button which closes out all orders open and set. This page speeds up all montage related tasks as i preset buttons to instantly load different position size percentages. If I need to get a little more granular with my orders, I’ll go to my “Orders” page. Again I layed out individual buttons for my most common partial amounts, “click to trail” buttons for setting trailing stops, and obvious BUY and SELL buttons for setting range orders. Once I’m in a trade, I switch to my “partials” page to lay out my profit taking and exit strategy. I have “Focus Montage Window” (I think I can add a focus window command to the hotkey script and get rid of this button), “Break Even” and “Stop at Click” buttons to help manage stops. I set a button for all my common partial amounts to quickly take profits. The Stream Deck XL becomes especially valuable trading the open when volatility is high and price action is fast. The trading page is used for entering, partialing, and exiting trades with market orders. The bottom right buttons will take you to my other DAS profile pages. I also added buttons for the Windows calculator, Focus 1-minute chart, and Epic Pen for journaling. I also added 4 pre-defined line styles on the second row to quickly draw horizontal lines for support and resistance, key daily levels or breakout levels. The whole top row are DAS Trader Pro shortcuts for marking up/manipulating chart windows which i use throughout the day. The two buttons for each tab toggle my charts between a micro view on the 1-minute chart and a macro view of 3 days on the 5-minute chart to clearly see the 3-day pivot relationships. I also programmed a button to switch between those tabs. The 1-MIN and PIVOTS buttons are specific to my DAS Trader Pro desktop which has separate tabs for trading and for scanning the market. I have a button that will auto draw R5,R6 & S5,S6 camarilla levels and a copy/paste toggle hotkey to assist in transferring exact level readings into the line config window. I mapped 4 different news sources on the bottom left (StockTwits, Google Finance, FinViz, and Benzinga) that will pull up news for whatever ticker is loaded into the montage. It’s handy in the pre-market because I can access all my analysis tools with a press of a button. These lines will however be run in the DAS script. My default profile page on the Stream Deck XL when focused on DAS Trader Pro is my “Research and Analysis” Page. You can use triple quote comments in the python script to prevent execution in the python test. Assigning a constant to another constant is not supported and won't be replaced by the Print utility Prevent python execution Just note that the replacement method does not replace recursively so constants can only be defined at one level. These will also be replaced by the print utility There is also support for Globally defined constants and must be placed in lib/globals.py Within a script you can define constants that will be replaced in the DAS Script Print utility.Ĭheckout the examples in the scripts directory for more details Globally defined constants DAS only allows +-*/ and processed operations from left to right regardless of operation type.Įg: 1 + 1 / 2 = 1 (not 1.5 as you might expect)Ĭheck the scripts dir for working examplesįor more detail on the way variables work in DAS check out this post: To do complex math may need to break it down into simpler instructions.
